Jeline Vandromme (WTA-179), Gilles-Arnaud Bailly (ATP-208) en Kimmer Coppejans (ATP-212) zijn er niet in geslaagd om door te stoten naar de tweede kwalificatieronde van Roland Garros (Frankrijk, Grand Slam).
Vandromme begon met een valse noot aan haar eerste Roland Garros bij de profs. Onze landgenote moest het opnemen tegen Aoi Ito (WTA-232). De Belgische verloor na twee nipte sets met 5-7 en 5-7 van de Japanse.

Bij de mannen begon Bailly sterk aan zijn duel tegen Nicolai Budkov Kjaer (ATP-123). De Belg won de eerste set overtuigend met 6-2, maar zag de Noor daarna terugkeren in de wedstrijd. Bailly verloor uiteindelijk met 6-2, 4-6 en 2-6.

Ook Coppejans kon geen ticket voor de tweede kwalificatieronde bemachtigen. Tegen Tristan Schoolkate (ATP-125) uit Australië verloor de Belg met 5-7, 6-1 en 4-6.
