Sachia Vickery en Noah Rubin, twee lager gerangschikte Amerikaanse spelers, hebben het niet zo begrepen op Novak Djokovic en zijn fans.
Vickery had een tijdje geleden heel wat Djokovic-fans over zich heen gekregen toen ze zich negatief uitliet over de Adria Tour. Nu blijkt dat heel wat deelnemers van het toernooi besmet zijn, blijft het plots erg stil aan de overkant, zo merkt ze op Twitter op.
“Waar zitten al die Djokovic-fans die mij vorige week aanvielen nu? Het enige wat ik zei was dat gezondheid prioriteit moet krijgen en niet hoeveel topspelers je naar een Grand Slam kan krijgen. Het is pijnlijk stil nu…”, aldus Vickery.
“Dat was een fijne tijd, niet? Die mensen zijn komisch”, viel Rubin zijn tenniscollega bij.
